📱 My Ride Link™ Update: Mobile First — And a Spotlight on a Rising Star 🌟

Learn How to Join Us

As development on the My Ride Link™ app continues to accelerate, we’re excited to share a strategic shift in our rollout plan — and to spotlight one of the brilliant young minds helping bring this project to life.

📲 First Up: iOS and Android

We’ve made the decision to focus our efforts on building the iOS and Android mobile apps first, ensuring a sleek, fast, and responsive experience for users who are on-the-go — which is the heart of what My Ride Link™ is all about.

Once the mobile apps are complete and launched, we’ll then turn our attention to building out the web app, bringing the same level of accessibility and functionality to desktop users.

This phased approach allows us to focus on creating a robust and user-friendly experience on the platforms most essential for ride and transit planning, while giving our team the space to scale thoughtfully.

👨‍💻 Intern Spotlight: Fareed Abdul-Latif

We’re honored to highlight one of the most impressive and selfless contributors on the team — Fareed Abdul-Latif, one of our youngest interns, whose impact has been anything but small.

Fareed is an undergraduate Computer Science student at Georgia Tech with over five years of programming experience in languages like Java, Python, SQL, and C#.

His work spans web and mobile applications, database systems, games and simulations, and even custom web servers.

But what truly sets Fareed apart is his willingness to jump in and support every development team — from front-end and back-end to UI/UX — always offering insight, collaboration, and creative solutions.

“I love working with others and supporting those I encounter along my journey,” Fareed says.
“I’m always looking for a way to use my skills to solve real-world problems and make a positive impact in my community.”

Fareed exemplifies the spirit of My Ride Link™ — using technology as a tool for change and stepping up as a leader, even when no one is watching.

🚦The Road Ahead

As we continue building and preparing for testing, we’re more excited than ever about the momentum and mission behind My Ride Link™. With team members like Fareed, and a shared vision to build something that connects people to opportunity, we know this project is on the right path.

Stay tuned as we bring the mobile apps to life first — and then expand to the web app once those are complete.
